Service Description

Taught by Caroline Baker, B.A. Visual Arts / M.A.T Visual Arts Pre-K - 12th Grade This class is designed to teach visual art in a personalized setting with access to all types of art media. Children will get to experience a professional, working studio space and gallery while they learn technique, craftsmanship, art history and aesthetics. Perfect for homeschool students needing art lessons, girl/boy scout badges, public school students interested in extra-curricular art instruction, beginners or experienced. Personalized attention will be given to each student according to their developmental needs and particular interests. "After School" classes will be held 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday evenings. These classes offer an academic approach to art production and appreciation, including art elements and principles such as color theory and composition.  Projects will carry over as long as necessary for each individual student. All supplies will be provided during these classes so that students can explore a variety of media and processes before choosing a "concentration" in specific media, content or subject matter if they desire to do so.

To Cancel or re-schedule, please contact us 48 hrs. in advance of the event or class. ***Cancellations can ONLY be refunded in full within 48 hrs. of BOOKING TIME. After that, you may reschedule or receive a gift voucher for the price of original booking. The best way to inform us of your cancellation or re-booking is: An e-mail to thebeachkraft@gmail.com with: -your name -participant name (if different from name booked under) -phone number -dates available to reschedule.
