February 3, 2026 - February 28, 2026

Reception Feb. 7,

5:00 pm - 7:00pm

Young artists aged 18 and under will be featured in a special art exhibit, February 3 - 28, 2026 at the beachKraft Gallery!

Student artists from across the DMV region will be featured in this special exhibition! The show includes a wide range of artwork, including vibrant paintings and detailed drawings by young local artists aged 18 and under. Each artist has highlighted their personal and unique vision and creativity through their artistic practice, and the gallery is thrilled to share the wealth of talent expressed in this exhibit.

The beachKraft Studio and Gallery of Olney offers annual exhibits of student artwork to any young artist working locally. Students can submit work that they have created in classes, workshops or at home or school. Entry is encouraged and open to any artist under 18 years of age in the DMV region. This allows younger artists to get the experience of entering their artwork to a gallery show and gives them a chance to share their achievement with the community at large.

See the Winter 2026 Student Exhibition at the gallery, Tuesday through Sunday, 12:30 PM to 7:00 PM, throughout the month of February.

A reception and celebration for the artists will be held Saturday, February 7, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

This exhibit is open for student artists 18 years old and younger to show their work in the gallery.

Artists do not have to be a student at our studio and can enter their best artwork produced at home, school, here at our studio or at another studio or class.

Click the button above to enter! Please make sure to read all the instructions and requirements, but DON'T be intimidated if you have never submitted work to a gallery before. Student Art Show February 2026

Submit your work for display in February 2026 at the beachKraft Gallery

        (Show runs February 3 - 28, 2026)

We want to share your creativity with our community! We also want to give students an idea of what it's like to submit and exhibit work to an art gallery. Any artist 18 and under can submit work. Students who have created artwork here at the beachKraft in classes or Art Camp are strongly encouraged to submit, however, the show is open to any student artist under 18 years of age.

Artwork can be 2-dimensional (paintings, drawings, etc.), or 3-dimentional (clay, paper mache, other sculpture).

Instructions:

  1. Choose up to 3 of your BEST artworks that you created at the beachKraft in class or art camp to submit to the show.

  2. Fill out the information in the form below

  3. Take a photo of your art (have a parent help if needed). Pleaase show just the artwork in the photo - it's a good idea to hang it up somewhere so there won't be background clutter in your image. Upload the photos through the form below, or attach them to an email to thebeachkraft@gmail.com with "student art show submission" in the subject line. (Make sure to have file names that match your titles so we know which art is which!)

  4. Deadline for submissions - Make sure to submit this form by Sunday, January 18, 11:59pm

  5. Notification of acceptance into exhibit - Sunday, Jan. 25.

  6. Intake of work - We will receive work at the gallery the week of Jan. 27-31, 12:30-5:00pm (or if you are taking classes at the beachKraft, bring it with you to class). Make sure your work is in "presentation condition" - (ex. no un-intentional creases or smudges). We can provide a matt and mylar covering to present work, however, we encourage you to frame your own (see framing guidelines below),

  7. Show Opens Tuesday, February 3 and closes Saturday, February 28.

  8. Join us for an artist's reception and celebration,

    Saturday, February 7, 5:00-7:00pm!
