Vera Fantinelli is a local artist who has been creating art for over 20 years. She specializes in childcare and instructional art designed to enrich the needs of each student. Our mission is to share the love of art and to celebrate the art little ones create. Through individualized instruction, hands on opportunities, and foundational knowledge building, We aim to give little learners the confidence they need to keep up their love of their craft. At Miss Vera's Young Artist Workshop we uphold values such as: art has meaning, it matters, it has weight and impact. It is also more fun than screentime. Little learners have the biggest hearts and we instill pride in their work. They can make a mistake and they can work through it. Everyone can art! These principles guide everything we do, ensuring understanding in every interaction. Sketch to Finish - July 14, 15, 16 Tuesday - Using a sketchbook from home, you will learn about different ways to use a pencil and design some unique drawings. 3 color challenge, designing your name, and using magic lines for 3d effects. Wednesday - How we can use nature in art. Contour lines, shadow drawings, and symmetry activities Drawing your favorite things in a negative vs positive space portrait. Thursday - We will be learning the best ways to use space, with movement and proportion. Prompts. Design choices include an Ocean scene, Bookshelf, 5 color silhouette, bugs in a jar, or fairy house in a forest.
